The greatest victory our enemies achieve over us is making us become as they are.
It is then of utter most importance we remember why we engage in conflict, what purpose it serves.
Thus when we reach for the methodes from the darker side of our abilities we must always keep in mind the reasons we usem them for - wheather it's vengance or a means to end a conflict that cannot be ended in any other way. And never ever must we forget that though we become as dreadful as what we fight with we wish to serve a noble cause - peace, love, family, friendship. We join the beasts not to be one with them, but to eliminate them so that we can finally achieve our goal - a peaceful life.
A life where all the means we have can be used to serve others so that we would never have to become what we had to become. A life where our sacrifice of blood, honour, life, morality and sanity serves others and not us - its purpose being the wellfare of people - our kin and the kin of those we stood up to.
We must remember that when we fight we do so not to win or destroy our enemy - we fight to have a chance to do everything in our power so that we would never have to fight again.
Should one ever loose the noble purpose one fights for one becomes no better than what one fights againts.
And the nobility of one's purpose is defined by his heart, moral jugement... By the delicate vibrations the words justice, good, nobility evoke within one's heart. Once those feelings of wormth decay they leave one in darkness from which only few where ever able to return.
No death is good. Not even that of noble cause. Not even if it's neccessary. But some deaths are inevitable. Some need to be handed out so as to avoid others. But as long as possible - death should be avoided.

Sorry if this sound like teachings (probably the teachings of a madman ;p), but i'm just trying to put my thoughts together and look at them from a "written perspective".
Well... noone should take them as they are - those are not dogmas, just the ideas of one guy.
If anything - they should be thought over... not believed in ;)
